Veramaris and other key microalgae stakeholders submit letter to Deputy Head of Cabinet of the European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries

Around the world almost 20% of wild capture fish is solely used to feed other fish, putting huge pressure on vulnerable marine ecosystems. Veramaris and other key microalgae stakeholders have submitted a letter to Carmen Preising, Deputy Head of Cabinet of the European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, expressing our commitment to working with The European Commission on their #EU4Algae initiative.
We believe that binding targets to substitute fish-based fish feed with algae-based solutions will help conserve vulnerable marine ecosystems & grow sustainable #aquaculture.
Thank you Carmen Preising for accepting our letter.
